Under the influence

I found this joke online — I thought it was so funny!

A guy walks into a bar, sits down and has a drink. Suddently, a man hollers at him, “I screwed your mom last night!” Disturbed, the man tries to ignore him.

Again, he hears, “Your mom was so good in bed last night!” Again, he tries to ignore it.

The man is just about to speak again but the guy stops him and says, “Dad, go home, you’re drunk!”

White!

It seems that white shirts are really making a comeback this spring, which is nice to see considering all the black and grey that’s been out this winter.

LOVE the outfit… but what’s with the ugg boots? The top is gorgeous.. love the off the shoulder look.

I also really like the dark denim paired with a white tank, the contrast looks great! The blue scarf as a belt is also a really nice touch to finish it off.

6 Signs it’s going to be a great spring!

So I was looking through this month’s Glamour (March), and at the beginning of the magazine they had the article “6 signs it’s going to be a great spring.” I have to say I was super excited by this.. I am soo eager to have spring come around the corner! In Canada it seems to be taking it’s time. Anyways, here’s the list:

1. Naomi Watts is in this magazine (OK That’s not really got anything to do with spring.)

2. Enchanted broke the women-are-bad-box-office curse.

3. Easy hair is in.

4. Everyone’s wearing dresses.

5. Hillary’s reignited politics.

6. Women are talking to one another.

Now a lot of those don’t really have anything to do with the seasons, but I am really stoked on numbers 3 and 4. I’ve been lusting after a color block dress from Lipsy since January, but they always seem to be sold out of my size. Hopefully more Canadian stores pick up and join the trend!

Spring is here?

I decided to start this blog with a spring – type layout, as it is now technically spring time. However, it doesn’t seem to be more than 10 degrees outside, which is really annoying!!! Grrr… I checked the average as compared to past years, and it is definately below average.. time to warm up! At least the spring type layout looks nice and warm
